Eucalyptus 3.3: Engineering Sprint 5 Review, Validation and Acceptance

Eucalyptus 3.3 is the upcoming version of our open source software for building AWS-compatible private and hybrid clouds, which will be made Generally Available in Q2 2013. Read more about the 3.3 features and functionality in the Eucalyptus roadmap.

We'll cover the following topics:

  • The Web Services team will demonstrating new Amazon Web Service (AWS) operations that have been implemented for Elastic Load Balancing (ELB), Auto Scaling, and Amazon CloudWatch support.

  • The Back-end will demonstrate the most recently implemented mechanisms for node evacuation and instance migration.

  • The Storage team will demonstrate Equallogic improvements/block device mapping.

  • The GUI team will demonstrate features in the User Console:

    • Resource Tagging
    • Auto Scaling
  • The Documentation team will provide an overview of the User Guide and Euca2ools Guide.

This is entirely open to the public and community to attend and provide feedback.
