"Eucalyptus has a world-class team, fantastic technology and it is clearly a leader in the private cloud computing space," said Cramer. "I am looking forward to re-locating to 'Silicon Beach' (also known as Santa Barbara, California) to join this amazing company as we help re-define information technology and address the growing global opportunities for cloud computing."
In recent news, Eucalyptus announced that it is partnering with leading open source vendor Red Hat to provide Eucalyptus support for Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and Eucalyptus compatibility with the Apache Deltacloud application programming interface (API).
