New Program Supports Diverse Eucalyptus Community

The new Eucalyptus Partner Program makes it easier and more rewarding for organizations to develop, market and sell their Eucalyptus-related solutions. The program offers three partner levels: Platinum, Gold and Silver, with each level providing a unique set of products and services to ensure partners are successful developing and launching Eucalyptus-based product offerings. The Platinum Partner level includes the most comprehensive set of benefits such as Eucalyptus engineering support, Enterprise Edition licenses, certified training, custom Partner Cloud access and co-marketing activities. The Silver Partner level is completely free and includes access to the Eucalyptus community cloud and co-marketing activities.

The Eucalyptus Partner Cloud is a unique benefit available to Platinum and Gold Eucalyptus partners for development and testing of their Eucalyptus-related technologies. With this resource, partners can launch isolated collections of virtual machine instances and exercise the full capabilities of the latest version of Eucalyptus. The Eucalyptus Partner Cloud is hosted at Coresite (http://www.coresite.com) and resides on state-of-the-art, high performance equipment. Partners can utilize command-line tools, build and run images, and even test with other third-party software on the Eucalyptus Partner Cloud.
