
Marten Mickos (马腾.米克思)¶
Chief Executive OfficerMarten Mickos is the CEO of Eucalyptus Systems. A veteran of open source, infrastructure software and global businesses, he previously was CEO of MySQL AB where he grew the company from garage start-up to the second largest open source company in the world. After the acquisition by Sun Microsystems of MySQL AB, he served as SVP of the Database Group.
Mickos holds a M.Sc. in technical physics from Helsinki University of Technology in his native Finland. He is a member of the board of directors of Nokia.

Ning Wang (王宁)¶
Chief Financial OfficerNing Wang is the Chief Financial Officer of Eucalyptus Systems. Ning has extensive experience running online subscription businesses that sell to both consumers and enterprises. Prior to joining Eucalyptus, Ning was CFO/COO/CTO at lynda.com, where in three years, she helped grow the company by a factor of three while simultaneously nearly tripling the EBITDA margin. At lynda.com, Ning introduced budgeting, key company metrics, and operational processes that dramatically optimized company performance.
Ning also led a software team that revamped the website architecture and rebuilt the entire website in nine months, allowing the business to scale into the enterprise market at an accelerated pace. Prior to lynda.com, Ning held COO/CFO roles at Blue Casa and Bargain Network. Ning also worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company for almost 4 years.
Ning holds a PhD in physics from UC Berkeley, and a BS in physics from Peking University.

Tim Cramer¶
Vice President of EngineeringTim Cramer is the Vice President of Engineering, which includes management of the development, release, and quality teams for both the Eucalyptus Open Source software and the Eucalyptus Enterprise Edition.
Tim has over 20 years of experience, most recently at Dell as the Director of Systems Management. Previously, he was at Sun Microsystems for 16 years, where he held a variety of engineering management positions in areas including performance, Java Tools, Consumer (TV, Phone, BluRay), and OpenSolaris. His roots are in compiler engineering at Lawrence Livermore National Lab and at startup Supercomputer Systems, Inc. Cramer has expertise in software design, development, release, and sustaining with internationally diverse teams and in open source projects.
Tim holds an Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Andy Knosp¶
Vice President of ProductAndy Knosp is the Vice President of Product and is responsible for product strategy, product management, and product marketing at Eucalyptus Systems.
Andy brings over 15 years of experience in enterprise software and in developing and bringing successful products and services to market. Most recently, Andy led product management and marketing for VMware Professional Services. Prior to his tenure at VMware, Andy held technical leadership positions with EDS, Loudcloud, and Procter & Gamble.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Purdue University.

Greg DeKoenigsberg¶
Vice President of CommunityGreg DeKoenigsberg is the Vice President of Community and is responsible for leading the company's relationship with the broader open source community.
Greg brings to Eucalyptus over a decade of open source advocacy and community leadership, with the majority of this time spent building and leading communities for open source leader Red Hat. While at Red Hat, Greg served in various community leadership roles, including senior community architect, leader of the Fedora project, chair of the first Fedora Project Board, and Red Hat community liaison with the One Laptop Per Child project.
Greg lives in Durham, North Carolina.

Tim Zeller¶
Vice President of Customer SuccessTim Zeller is the Vice President of Customer Success and is responsible for leading the globally distributed team of solutions engineers, consultants, trainers, and sales professionals who deliver business value for the customer with successful field production deployments of Eucalyptus.
Previously, Tim served as director of Red Hat's telecom vertical for 6 years, leading a team of highly experienced account managers and solution architects. Prior to Red Hat, Tim held many roles during his 18 year tenure at Nortel, including directing product management and business development.
Tim holds a MBA degree from Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill and a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State University.
Rich Wolski¶
Board MemberRich Wolski is a Co-founder and Board Member of Eucalyptus Systems Inc., and a Professor of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Having received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of California at Davis (while a researcher at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory) he has also held positions at the University of California, San Diego, and the University of Tennessee. He is currently also a strategic advisor to the San Diego Supercomputer Center and an adjunct faculty member at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Rich has led several national scale research efforts in the area of high-performance distributed computing and grid computing, is the author of numerous research articles concerning the empirical study of distributed systems, and is the progenitor of the Eucalyptus project.
